So, for the last few years now, I have been experiencing some problems with my right leg. I get a lot of tingling in the arch of my foot, sometimes followed by pain, and some tightness/pain in my calf. At first I thought it was because of my flat feet, but I got orthotics and it didn't seem to go away. It did help with the night cramps I got, though. In terms of the tingling/pain/tightness, it has been increasing in frequency over the last 8 months or so. At first it would only occur sporadically, lasting a couple weeks at a time, but not it is pretty much constant. It is better in the morning though, and in some ways it might be caused by me just freaking out about it, but I still feel there is more going on then that. It doesn't feel weak, I don't think, though I have more pain on going up stairs.
Also, I have some eye problems. I see visual snow and have increased afterimages. The snow has been steadily increasing since I was 10ish. The doctors thought it was probably migraine related, though I do not get any pain, but I am not so sure now because of my leg. Also, my right pupil is slightly larger than my left. They both respond normally to light, though. Also my vision is normal besides this, though my right eye is slightly worse than my left (still close to 20/20).
I have also suffered from depression and anxiety for a very long time. Sometimes I do have memory and concentration problems and I feel spaced out.
Any thoughts on my symptoms would be helpful! And yes, I am going to my doctor to have a serious talk about these symptoms and get an MRI done.
Side question: I recently got an MRI done for a study I participated in. I realize it's not diagnostic and probably wasn't analyzed by a neurologist/other qualified professional, but do you think they would have given me a heads up if anything was troubling?
