I'm interested in the wash out period too or more over this in the chance of PML after the last infusion. I've stopped Tysabri three months ago definitiely after six years and started with BG-12 last month. I'm on LDN since about a year. No progression so far but I'm still pretty worried.

Hi Mikro,

I had 50+ Tysabri infusions and went off it last September. I had IV steroids in December and started Gilenya in March.

Interesting, I read from most who went off Tysabri that they had steriods right afterwards but my neuro didn't tell me about this (I feel neglected).

I went off tysabri, against doctors orders in Aug 2012. I am now 13 infusions over due and one year off. I did have my first relapse in five years in March, which is a little over the standard six month period. But it was just some numbness in my fingers and ear along with a few active lesions. So far now, I have leveled off and feel like I always did. I also have done the swank diet for six years, so that my have helped me with the transition off
