I am so happy for you and to see you posting!!!! I can't wait to hear about your improvements and I bet you are already feeling good since you would not be making your journey home so quikly if you weren't ready to.
If I had your persistence, there's nothing I couldn't do! Talk about crawling over broken glass to get something you want and staying steadfast in your determination. Of all the people who have received this, I think you take the prize for making it happen despite all obstacles. Bravo to you Erika! I hope you respond to this greatly!
Wishing you the best. After all the ups and downs you have been through in the pursuit of this intervention, you deserve the best. As we say "you are one tough cookie".
I totally agree with Loobie. Hats off to Erika! I hope you recover well and you experience swift improvement of neurological deficits!

Erica... I am so happy that everything went so well !!! The ultrasound found the stenosis and you had it fixed !!! I am enrolled in Dr. Haacke's imaging study in Detroit. I will have my scans on December 7. I am worried that the results will be negative since I am NOT having ultrasound like you did. Dr. Haacke did tell me that I would get my results, 3D graphics of my veins.
Erika, just super news. So very happy for you and what your changed future may bring. Your story not only stands on its own, but also provides one of those positive and motivating examples for all. The smiles continue.
