Re: New resource site

more awareness is always good, thanks for creating that site.

i would suggest you consider changing this particular comment,
"Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease" in the 'facts' section. That is a very debateable subject and it is not absolute fact at this time.

best of luck.

Re: % of people with symptoms that end up with MS diagnosis?

Re: Why did you choose your meds...this is confusing.

well, i started the Avonex back in May. toward the end of Sept i had a slight relapse and my old initial symptoms of a heat sensation to my abs came back. it lasted approximately 3 weeks gradually disapearing. i have fairly constant headaches and become dizzy or lightheaded after exercising, so i op...

Re: Is HSCT the answer?

from what i have read, HSCT is the best answer. it is the sledge hammer approach and there are no guarantees for long term success, but it is (imo) the best current option. hopefully, it will be approved by the insurance companies by 2020 or so as George suggests. 80-100k? what is your quality of li...

hey amber, weigh all of your options by reading as much as possible here and everywhere. IMO, do not let the Dr tell you what to use for meds. i saw 4 different dr's for their opinions and analysis. i ended up choosing avonex due to multiple reasons...mostly that it was once a week. so far it's been...
