Were you diagnosed with MS, and how were you diagnosed?

male, 45, numb feet, MRI

Late 30's, was rear-ended in car accident, had numbness in legs, feet, arms & hands. Had facial pain and when dentist didn't find anything, led back to other Dr.'s. Had the nasty ms hug around waist and arms. But think ms probably goes back to 20's. I had numbness in fingers, but dr.s never found anything. Thought it was stress from being in the financial industry & related stressors.

I had mono as a sophomore in high school....does it go back that far...idk....

Thanks so much for the responses. I am waiting on my appointment to get my mri, but my symptoms could be sm related instead of ms. Just curious mostly right now.

First sign for me was at 19... single eye optic neuritis. Then at 24 went through many symptoms and got diagnosed a few months ago.

Back to 100 percent now though.... somehow.

Male, 31, numbness & loss of strength in legs followed 3 months later by loss of dexterity in right arm, MRI

Male, age 37, numbness and loss of coordination in left hand. Some loss of feeling in right hand fingertips. Lesions in brain. One in cervical spine. Left leg went numb with loss of bladder and bowel feeling eight years prior but no diagnosis then. Left hand still numb. Cannot play guitar anymore or type by touch. Hard to find a job with one good arm.

grrr I dread the day if I cant ever play guitar any more.

I hope you get back to where u can again, do everything possible to fight back.

it suuuucked when i couldn't play the guitar or type. klenner protocol brought it all back for me in about three days. so awesome.
