My BF has had Progressive MS for 5 years and is interested in trying Chelation Therapy to eradicate lead and heavy metals out of his body (career as plumber, high exposure to lead). I am looking for testimonials of people with MS who have tried Chelation, either successfully or unsuccessfully. If you have a success story, which type of Chelation formula did you use?

Welcome to ThisIsMS. There has been lots of discussion about chelation over the years here. You can use the site's search function to find the relevant topics.
There is much to learn about chelation. I encourage you to read all of the links provided.

Welcome to ThisIsMS, BCGoddess. Could BC stand for British Columbia? If so, in view of the following, I wonder if your BF has had a vitamin D blood test?
Today, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (https://mssociety.ca/) says "In Canada, you have a greater risk of developing multiple sclerosis than in any other country. Simply put, it's Canada's disease."

@34:00 There's mercury in lots of things. I used to play with mercury when I was a kid. I'd break one of those thermometers. It's really neat to see a metal roll around; you'd take your finger… There is a system your body has of getting rid of heavy metals.… Like lead, for example, lead … in paint…
@35:00 Vitamin D, by the way, is one of the ways you get rid of heavy metals because it acts as a chelating agent through other proteins to help withdraw it… the thiol scavengers all are up-regulated by vitamin D. Very interesting.

My prior research in chelation revealed that mercury is excreted by the body with a half-life of 1-2 months. In contrast, lead is not excreted and accumulates.
Another metal that might be assessed in this way is mercury. DMSA mobilizes mercury effectively in both animals (20–25) and in humans (8,17,26–31). However, unlike lead, mercury undergoes relatively little bioaccumulation. It is excreted with a half-life of 1–2 months (17,32–35).

I have undergone chelation to remove high lead levels in my blood system, and I would recommend extreme caution. Only have the procedure under the supervision of a medical professional. People have died from hypocalcemia during chelation therapy. During treatment other needed essential nutrients are removed from the system. Unless there is a medical need, do not pursue. I am not a doctor, this is my opinion.
