Symptoms of something, does this sound like MS? Help!

Hello and thanks in advance. Have been hiding my head in the sand for some time but have been getting increasingly worried. Symptoms I've had for many years - occasional numbness around my mouth, becoming increasingly frequent and lasting longer.
Symptoms I've noticed in the last year or so: Weird, pinpoint sensations of white hot, almost shock like feelings in my legs when walking, very fast and fleeting. These are intermittent. Also, an increase in clumsiness, hitting my hand or shoulder on a wall or corner when I thought I'd clear it, bumping up against the handle of a drawer wrong, etc. Dropping things.
Symptoms in last few weeks: Frequent inability to remember the right word. That tip of the tongue feeling, but just can't bring the right word to mind. Also increasing forgetfulness.
Advice is welcome. I work in a hospital and I'm afraid to go anywhere where people I work with will wind up seeing any results of imaging. Do you think I should go see a neurologist who will send me to a different hospital for testing? I'm freaking out. Thanks!
