Bracing to get the diagnosis.

WEll,
maybe some of you remember my earlier posts. I was pretty concerned that my girlfriend was showing some symptoms of MS and came here to try and get some more info....
Since the posts, things are closer to being figured out. SHe had an MRI (w/o contrast) because it was initally to figure out headaches (not due to suspected MS). The results are in and she has an appt in a week or so. We were given the impression something was found.
I have been doing alot of research and preparing for the MS diagnosis while she is (at least was) still thinking it was sinusitis (which has basically been ruled out). Her intial symptoms were: dizziness, headaches that appear in one spot and disappear pretty quick, exhaustion that just hits her and really lays her out, achy and heavy limbs....These were the symptoms that only happened in the cooler months, but now she is getting a few new symptoms: Sensitive scalp, very sensitive deep in the sinus area (especially when she breathes in), She is hot/cold on the drop of a hat (even though everyone else is fine), and the most scary of all, had some tightness around her right side of her chest (possibly MS hug??)
I want to tell her that she needs to get ready to hear the letters MS, but I really don't want to scare her in case it may be something else. She is alreay worrying about her future, our future, etc...and she is so sad. I feel helpless.
Should I really make her be aware this could be MS? Does this sound like MS to you folks? Based on internet searches and research, it does to me. The only thing is she has NO numbness or tingling anywhere and heat (hot showers, baths) aren't affecting her.
Maybe I don't even need a response, I just need to get this out. This is avery hard on both of us since she has been dealing with this for the last 3 winters and now it seems to have held on longer this time. I have seen my active, happy healthy gf turn into someone I don't know and it breaks my heart to see her like this.
Thanks for listening....
