Hopefully when they say years away they don't mean yeaaaaaarrrrrrrsssss away. Maybe there is an excess of emmprin in people's veins that lead to MS? Come on JL let me have this one! I have been a good boy lately!

EMMPRIN is not only elevated in MS lesions, it's elevated in stroke and cerebrovascular disease created by ischemic (low O2) insult.

This seems like a physiological reaction to hypoxia. Wouldn't restoring oxygenation be a better approach instead of silencing this protein?
