I'm a veterinarian and have done a few stem cell treatments on animals. These were for musculoskeletal problems. As I understand it, traditionally bone marrow was used for stem cells. But then someone found that subq fat has 100 to 1000 times more stem cells than a similar volume of bone marrow. I collected fat the same way liposuction is done. Then put the fat in a centrifuge. That separates into three distinct parts. The middle part contains the stem cells. Then I collected that and injected it into a dog's stifle joint to treat it's torn ACL. One treatment cured him. I was thinking about doing it to myself because of a chronic Achilles tear but my last PRP treatment seems to have worked. I've read of it being successful in treating cardiac disease in people.

You can read about Algis's experience.

There's also Napay's wife.

George Gross did HSCT a while back and reported no apparent disease activity 6 years post treatment.

SammyJo had mesenchymal stem cells.
