Re: New lesions after 10 months on LDN

Hi there. Thank you for sharing your story. In my opinion, the reason your husband started doing so much better especially in terms of numbness and digestion, was probably starting the LDN. I think many of us here can testify to the LDN making a huge difference. My major complaints were also extreme...

Re: New lesions after 10 months on LDN

I believe it is actually on the correct page. My original post was about developing new lesions while on LDN. Somewhere along the way, someone suggested I add Copaxone to my LDN regimen. I answered with a response to what happened when I attempted to do so. The thread isn't about Copaxone, but about...

Re: New lesions after 10 months on LDN

Thanks Tracey. One shot of Copaxone had me back in the ER, with anaphalactic (sp?) shock. I stopped breathing and the nurse who was with me called 911..... Im allergic to it, obviously, there wont be another shot of C for me! I appreciate your advice, but I wont be sticking myself with any more need...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Ill go back and read it again, but i have to say, everything I was able to glean from it, was about dental issues and MS symptoms. Thank you. I know you are trying to help. Obviously, you are correct. With the amount of lesions I have, especially on my brain stem, I should not be graduating with top...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Well I read pages 5 and 6 of the thread and im completely confused. Why did you think this might help me? I have not one single symptom. I am a 1 on the EDS scale. I have no pain, I have no issues. BUT I now have over 100 lesions, 6 black holes- and all of them are on my brain and brainstem. My doct...

LDN and Tysabri

Does anyone know of any information about taking LDN and Tysabri? I need to show my Neurologist why I think it would be okay to be on LDN and start Tysabri as well. From what i am reading about Tysabri, it doesnt affect the immune system at all, so taking LDN shouldnt be a problem, but does anyone k...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

This is one of those things that I wont even begin to argue about. You are entitled to what you read and understood~ I prefer to look at Dr Bahari's research and follow the advice of Dr Skip, from Skips Pharmacy. What about cautionary warnings? Because LDN blocks opioid receptors throughout the body...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Taking LDN and Rebif is a huge no-no! They contradict each other and youll get no benefits at all from LDN. I was on Rebif for 6 years and wound up having to stop it because I developed NABs (neutralizing antibodies) It bascially poisoned me. I have NOTHING against LDN. I feel wonderful- and truly b...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Patticake- Thats sweet of you to feel that way, but DONT DO IT! I wouldnt want you to experience what I am going through. I am actually very familiar with SammyJo's story. Its very sad what she has been through, although the last few posts I had read, she has had some success in feeling better with ...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Actually I can totally relate !! I walked into that MRI telling the tech "I feel great" and walked out the same way. 3 days later, when I got my results, I went into a downward spiral..not exactly depressed, but more shocked! Now that he wants to add Copaxone, the idra of going back on sho...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Kathy, You didnt attack me. I just wanted to clarify why I wrote what I did. No one has ever been able to tell me that they have gotten new lesions while on LDN, and yet- I obviously have. Im really sorry for your situation. I know alot about what you are going through. I was 35 when I was dx, and l...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

I absolutely know that you are correct in saying that supplements and nutrition play an important part in managing this disease. BUT I didn't come here to discuss that. I feel quite confident in my own protocol which actually does follow several of your own. I read your post/blog on what you take/ea...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Hi. Sorry but I'm t work and don't have all that information available to give you. I'm not really interested in discussing nutritional counseling or labs anyway. I do believe in supplements and am taking them as prescribed. I also follow a modified Paleo diet. I have a nutitionalist as well. My que...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

HI. Thank you for your reply. I have had cellular and serum bloodwork done every six months for the past 5 years and am taking supplements accordingly. They seem to change almost every year. When I was dx with MS, 7 years ago, I woke up with numbness and tingling, never had a symtom before that. My ...

Re: I have definitely progressed while on LDN

Hello there. Id like to back up and say that I didnt make the claim that no one gets worse on LDN. What I actually said, in context, was "there have been no documented cases of people getting lesions while on LDN". Go ahead and show me that Im wrong. Id love to see it, because as far as i ...
