Re: Have you switched to Tecfidera? Are you glad you did?

This is hopeful...sort of. My gut is one of the things I am so comfortable with ...compared to my neuropathic blue feet! Of course when I go to the neuro there is a big push for some DMD even though I am on LDN (prescribed by an alternative doc). After 2 yrs on a strict diet and LDN my February MRI...

I'm glad to hear that report! I hope you're still doing well.

Re: Have you switched to Tecfidera? Are you glad you did?

Dorkkbrain All that sounds like good news. I am weighing Tecfidera. I am currently taking NrF2 which is an active ingredient of Tecfidera without any issues at all. I know "everyone is different" but curious about spine lesions which seem to now effect my mobility significantly. So theref...

Re: Have you switched to Tecfidera? Are you glad you did?

I have been on Tecfidera since July 12. I stopped taking it July 29 because it had been making me violently ill since Day 12 or 13, plus I had hives, a rash, welts, itching, and other issues. I started back on it on August 2, but back at the lower dose. I took the lower dose for about a month withou...

Re: Here I go again

Okay. I'll keep you posted if I bump it up. Apparently I'm a little farther along on the switch than you are, but I never had to go in the hospital because of the pills. I really admire your determination. Let me know how you do when you take the higher evening dose!

Re: Here I go again

So do I! I've been taking the 240 every third night for a couple of weeks. I feel just fine, so I'm kinda wondering if I can start taking the 240 pill every night. Do you have any thoughts on that? Do you think it's too soon? My neuro and I are just winging it, so she won't know if I ask her, so I t...

Re: Here I go again

How are the alternating doses working out for you? My neuro sort of has me trying the same thing after I had horrible gastro side effects, hives, welts, rash, itching, etc., in addition to the flushing, about four days after starting the 240 mg twice a day. I started back on 120 for a month, and now...
