Thanks for all the help jimmylegs. I was advised to get iron infusions. Since the childcare/transportation issues make that extremely hard she said it was alright to try the oral iron. So I'm on FERROUS SULFATE 324MG EC TAB, once a day with orange juice. So far no dietary recommendations.and no cofa...

Thanks, I will talk to my PCP about the test. I couldn't find any mention of it in my records but don't know if it's under possibly as did name because of VA reasons or if it wasn't ordered.
