so your feeling isn't that it is more prevalent today..... just better diagnostics. From my observation I have worked in a Dr.'s office for the last 20 years in a small town. For many years we didn't have 1 patient with MS, then we had 1, a woman. Now we have 6 all diagnosed in the last few months! ...

Robbin's neuro at OHSU has done MRI's of the brain, c-spine, and the rest of the spine twice since FEB '08. On it you could see the old original lesions plus several new ones that were lighting up. On the spine he seems to have 3 lesions and that seemed to be the most disturbing part to the neuro. W...

I like what you said Harry.... I just can't wrap my mind around all these drugs that basically destroy the immune system. It seems counter intuitive to the way we are designed. Also is it me or does it seem like MS diagnosis is on the up swing. Everyone I run into seems to have MS somewhere in their...

About the grief of being diagnosed
Robbin goes through these dark periods where he says I should find someone else that's not so f-ed up, that I should move on, that he won't be around long.....etc. Then he gets like he doesn't even want to take his meds or do things for his health. Angry, upset, rebellious..... I assume this is part...

I'm new to all of this since my boyfriends diagnosis on Valentines day '08. We were high school sweeties that went separate ways - only to reunite (after 23 years) and discover this demon is in our future. The phrase "this isn't fair" comes to mind often. He is 41 and has always been healt...
