Healing from falls in MS
I fell down two stairs in July, twising my ankly badly. Couldn't walk on it without aids. I manage to walk somewhat now. It is still extremely sore. I just wondered if anyone knows how long this might take. It has been x-rayed - not broken so they say. Is this amount of time normal? Does it take lon...

Re: New Information
Annesse, just out of interest, my sister has lupus and I have ppms. I had rheumatics as a child, which was terrible pain, and I use to wake up crying in pain, this continued well into my adulthood and then I developed ms. I had to constantly take pain killers for the pain. Hope this will be of some ...

Any one know why this is?
I know most people's walking and balance fade with the day if they have used too much energy.
I am best in the morning regardless of how much I do. By lunch time I have great difficulty in walking.
Anyone have ideas please.

Re: just curious--how many of you get or used to get cold so
Yes to both. I worry about my kids. One has had shingles and chicken pox - very minor case because I have had both my kids vaccinated for cp. Now wonder if they need some sort of booster now 18 and 16. Anyone know? The doctor is not sure.

Re: My Doctor's Opinion (sativex)
I am finally going back to the dr shortly so will hit him up re the sativex spray. I currently have bruises you wouldn't believe from falling (lack of balance). I am just worried about the sleeping with this, as it is not good now?

Re: Study finds exercise, sunlight treat Multiple Sclerosis
This may be more successful in rrms but it is a problem with ppms if u do not have the balance or energy. I have been to this retreat and did not find it helpful to me nor did the books he wrote. As he has rrms it is more centered around this. However u may be able to slow/halt disease progression i...

Cold and MS
If I am not mistaken, someone on here posted about the cold and MS and how it affects them. I too do not do well in the cold, for that matter nor the extreme heat. The cold makes me stiff and the heat makes me dizzy. So a no win situation really! I currently have a bruise about 5 inches long and wid...

Re: My Doctor's Opinion
Good luck with getting anywhere. It is supposedly legal in NZ. However I keep getting brushed off from the Neuro (who by the way over here in little Chch all appear useless and the doctor says to ask the Neuro so I have given up and whilst the pain is unbearable I keep on putting all those pain kill...
