Answering the original post. I have followed BBD since 2004. I also find I am eating lots of rice products. I also eat corn quite often Besides those lots of fruit and vegetables. I seem to drink more tea etc. throughout the day to avoid cravings for all of the bad foods that seem to follow me around.

We have small children as well. My secret is my wife. She also follows the diet and as such we are only cooking adult and kid meals.

Soy is a legume and as such considered bad.

I've followed BBD since 2004 and did not eliminate legumes in the first year. Improvement only came after I got rid of the legumes.

Yes patientx, that is me, but I wasn't getting any responses.

Cheer, thanks so much for the info. This is what I wanted to know. The stuff in the medical journals takes too long to read and a note pad. :D

Thanks again!

Anyone heard about this supplement? In studies on mice, Dr. Michael Demetriou and colleagues with the UC Irvine Center for Immunology found that N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc), which is similar but more effective than the widely available glucosamine, inhibited the growth and function of abnormal T-ce...

In the first 6-8 months I cheated and that was knd of my own "study" as you described. But now I follow the diet religously. As I'm sitting watching people around me eat a big piece of pizza and chocolate cake, I wonder is my mild course the diet or just the course. On the flip side, I'm n...

Thanks, I saw the diet journals. Diet is tough to do a real test because people make mistakes. Unless you imprison them and force them to eat the right foods :D My guess is the medical community will say the study means nothing because there was not a blind placebo. I truly believe in the diet, I gu...

I've been on this diet for 4-years and anxiously waiting for the results of this study. Why isn't this on Direct MS.

I'm glad to see something, but I'm wondering how closely they monitored these people's diets to be sure they did not eat the wrong things.

Hello Intro

Hello, :D I'm new here, but in my 6th year with MS. I have chosen diet BBD (5-years) as my method of dealing with the disease and I am doing very well. I work full time, travel, etc. I have not used any meds yet. I've posted to the NMSS board for quite some time. I joined this board because I was ha...
