Inject slowly. If you inject quickly, the very small size of the Rebif needle makes the serum stream act like a cutting torch inside your body. Won't do anything for the red spots but it may seriously cut down on the pain.

I don't know how medicine works in Australia, but here in Canada imaging diagnostics done at a hospital, including MRI's, are reviewed by the radiology staff first. Their report is non-biased as they don't practice in any branch of medicine other than diagnostics and they never actually see patients.
