The books I have do not have the necessary information I would need to answer that confidence interval question, but I will check will some ex-collegues of mine. I should be able to come up with an answer sometime next week. The sample size of 500 is still somewhat small to get a really good confide...

From a brief look at the data. I would be a thrilled researcher looking at this data trying to find the flaws in the data or the questions that I am asking. I am a cogntively disabled actuarial student that looked at numbers all day for almost 20 years and I always hestitated when the numbers looked...

I did not mean to ignore your post. I read somewhere in an article someone said the correlation was about 2 to 1 having CCSVI to MS, and another place I thought I read about a 4 to 1 corrrelation. However. I believe the question you are asking given the data we know from the article is "What is...

I am lousy at that technique, but I have heard that it works for others.

The auto immune resonse has been the only reasonable explanation for the responses in MS patients. The MRIs highlight a connection, but it is not neccessarily a solid connection. For now, MS is most easily explained as an autoimmune disease. The other choice is MS causes something to happens in your...

Dr. Zivadinov may have issued his first report to highlight the importance of CCSVI in order to get it in as late breaking news in the April conference. The February 10th news letter just provides limited detailed information. What I have gleaned so far has been 62.5% of affected MS patients have CC...

I used to work as an actuarial analyst for an insurance company. I am very aware of the fact that with percentages, one can make them say almost anything one wants. The Buffalo study could have just as easily mentioned the fact that over 41% of the total group has CCSVI. This would downplay the rele...

The money donated to NMSS is used for a wide variety of issues that includes research, MS member support, and advocating for MS patients needs through the state and federal branches. The money raised through walks, biking, and other fund raising events is not only used to help people with MS live wi...

I am new to posting here. I have been reading all about CCSVI here, and I just had to post this here. As far as other questions being addressed, there may be many questions asked. I for one can come up a few even if almost all MS patients have CCSVI. like: What does the location of the venous proble...
