Thanks for the reply CVfactor, and the link on Biography. Yes Helminth therapy is founded on the hygeine hypothesis. That until the advent of mass hygeine (particularly sewers and shoes) we would have routinely been exposed to a range of 'parasites'. Indeed humans and prehumans have evolved along wi...

Well nice of you to notice my history, and as you ask the outcome of the CCSVI treatment was absolutely no change. Left jugular and azgous veins were succesfully dilated, but no change in symptoms at all. Maybe I jumped on the CCSVI bandwagon a bit, but it was surely worth a try. But I've always kep...

Helminth therapy and HSCT therapy

Assuming that the autoimmune theory is correct, as all the evidence seems to indicate, what are people's thoughts on the compatibility of the principles of helminthic therapy and HSCT treatment? Both these treatments seem to have very strong science, clinical trial data, and anecdotal success storie...

This is a really interesting thread. I am wondering what is the limiting factor. - is the amount of glucose to go through the BBB limited by iron deposits to the extent that injesting additional glucose into the blood stream has no benefit? In fact, is it logical to assume that if glucose is not abs...

thats really great news AMcG. congratulations! I hope you dont mind a few questions: Where did you go for treatment? How long have you had MS, and what were your symptoms before the liberation? Did the symptoms improve quickly after treatment, or slowly over the following months? Finally can I ask w...

EJC - any news on the procedure yet? looks like you were one of the earliest to be scanned, so it should be soon. Have you contacted the clinic direct? we did a while ago and they got back very quickly, even if they didnt have much of an update. Hopefully we will get a newsletter soon. I was scanned...

there are some comments on their facebook page, including one or two from people who've had the procedure - they seem very positive about it. It looks like facebook is the first place they would put any further information - I don't think you need an account to view this page: http://www.facebook.co...

Good observation Rokkit. To be honest I find it difficult to intepret all those images.
The videos of all the presentations are due to be available by 12th November, so that should put the slides in context and make it easier for me to understand the significance of his scans.

CCSVI Conference feedback

The CCSVI conference in Glasgow UK was held on 29-30th October, hosted by the Essentail Health Clinic. Here is the feedback they sent out in the newsletter today. Worth a read: "We have had the great pleasure of hosting with MS-CCSVI UK, the first CCSVI conference in the UK. On Friday 29th we h...

Me too! Its great EHC is taking a lead in the UK and I've also been impressed with how professional they seem to be.

GiCi - Do you know if any of the presentations will be going online?

I had a positive scan at EHC Glasgow last month, and am awaiting a date for the angioplasty. Apparently I have 4 of the 5 CCSVI criteria (including completely closed LJV), so am a good case for the procedure. Hoping to get seen early in the new year, but would be very interested to hear of anyone's ...

Cece - That's my interpretation too - a vicious circle. I can see David's point also. Perhaps there are multi-factors at work i.e. pre-existing CCSVI made worse by endothelial problems? Cheer - thanks for your message and all you are doing. I have recently had a doppler that identified left jugular ...
