My neuro is Dr. J.E. Paulseth of Hamilton Health Sciences, MacMaster Univ Medical Centre, MS Clinic. I've been seeing him since 1999. A very gentle and kind man. I haven't talked to him since the CCSVI news broke but have talked to his head nurse coordinator. I am very happy that he is attending. I will see him once a year now which will be in a few months.

Thanks Bobbi - that is not the same neuro that finalized my dx - I was wondering. I just had a look at the Mac MS clinic listing and I don't see a physician's name that rings a bell - perhaps he has moved on to another location since 2006.
Glad someone from Mac is going at least! I hope more than one plan to attend.

I think this says it all who the force in this is (yes: we are! And whoever then studies it will understand how much this makes sense...):
"There's a great deal of skepticism about the observational study (that Zamboni did)," said Kevin Smith, CEO of St. Joseph's Healthcare. "A lot of the scientific community has already rejected the view. But it resonates profoundly with patients and families so it's our responsibility to determine if this is more than unusual observation."
I look very much forward to watching this!

I was going to quote the exact same bit... this is the crux of the matter. That they have a responsibility to look further without dismissing out of hand. Kudos to them.Zeureka wrote:

Did you see this paper? Il will be presented this afternoon at the Hamilton conference by doctor Haacke. It's very technical...

A lot of that was very technical...but definitely an interesting read.
