Does the natural course of ms meaning the good and bad days and the relapses and remissions have any weight in the decisions on how good a drug is? I know when I tried ldn for 8 months there were times that I thought hey its is really helping and then there were times I thought this isn’t doing shit. Is there a chance that being on a drug can just happen to coincide with a good time in your ms so you think wow this is great. I guess the placebo factor takes care of this or does it. When I stopped beta interferon my neuro said that she couldn’t tell me for sure if it was working she just said I think you would have been worse off without it. Her saying that still haunts to this day, please tell me there’s more to it than that...

I remember a couple years ago M, J, Fox was all over the news with his parkinsons and he raised all this money. They swore up and down that a cure was around the corner in fact they knew how but just needed the money. They say that parkinsons is the first of the neurological diseases to be figured out or cured. is this true? How much money does it take? When there is natural tragedies around the world such as the tsunami ordinary people raise billions of dollars to help these people does cancer or aids or whatever tragic disease qualify for an infusion of enough money that there are no more excuses to find cures instead of money making bull shit. There are people where you live dying, starving, homeless, suffering, where the hell is the money for this, instead of raising billions to send half way around the world.

I really hope that it wouldn't matter how much money was available to cure something, i like to think that they are just not smart enough yet to figure it all out. When i here that the lack of money is used for a reason that reasearch is going slow or can't start it hurts. There is so much friggin money out there there is no reason for this other than politics, G. Bush is spending billions a week to be in Irac, would one of those billions cure anything if it fell into the right hands. I hope not because then we must really have our priorities screwed up.
