That's wonderful that you are liberated manoj. Are you the first in India? I agree with Mark that competition will level the playing field. It looks as if Dr. Grodzinski and Ameds are both undercutting Euromedic, and are offering value-added services. Jordan is less than $25Gs too, I think.

Don't want to rain on your parade, Doc, but I've heard that westerners are not always made all that welcome in your neck of the woods.

I would go to Lahore, if I must. It would be an adventure! I don't know that I would wander the streets, but I am sure the hospital has an arrangement to ensure the safety of their clients.

Don't believe all the propaganda in Western newspapers. Most people are simply human beings, and are inherently decent. I would not feel any more intimidated in Lahore than I would feel in South Central LA, some parts of Winnipeg, the Jane/Finch corridor in Toronto, and would feel a lot safer than if in Cuidad Juarez in Mexico.

I'd love it if we could all travel abroad without experiencing any problems but unfortunately there are some countries where you are more likely to have some trouble. The UK Govt. website alludes that Pakistan is one of them.

Yes -- the media can be deceptive. It is true Pakistan has dangers (Have been there so I speak from experience!) but then didn't London in the 1970s at the height of the IRA campaign? I wasn't blown up or kidnapped!

People there are icredibly hospitable -- glad to see a doctor doing this there!

I am following the story of one person from our area
but so far very little benefit from
the procedure and the cost so outrageous. And what about
follow-up???????I really can't grasp this.

I.R. told her she had blockages (Canadian doctors said NO, - TWO TIMES)
she spent 30,000 US DOLLARS to arrive in India to be told NO, NO
NO, she didn't have blockages - CCSVI!

Whoever is goin for CCSVI diagnostic/ testing, please ask them to test your azygos vein, besides Jugulars. As per Dr. Zamboni research 86 % of population tested had problem with Azygos vein and majority of our current testing getting done for brain and neck missing out Azygos..

Hi, MS'ers, if you got yourself diagnosed for CCSVI or planning one, and if there is stenosis of veins, please do not allow your Dr. to put a STENT, until unless its very necessary and risk reward in favor of it, venoplasty/balooning as of now highly is reccomended.

The current stents are really not ment for veins and there are lot of side effects of blood thinning med, like Plavix and coumadin as well as aspirin. Aspirin you might hv to take it for lifetime and its very prone to create ulcers.

Please Please, evaluate option very carefully

Dear all,

ive had a stenting in my right jugular vein for stenosis 7 weeks back, and my follow up mrv scan shows filling defect in right horizontal sinus. my doc says its normal thing. The report also says this existed before my stenting procedure but got missed out in last report.

Does any one knows the impact of this and if any treatment required.

mshusband, I think you should be very careful when you open your mouth.
Do you know the history of Manoj? and the reason for saying what he did?

Having found stenosis in jug veins, Manoj decided to go for the procedure.
So far, he has not seen major changes what other have apparently seen. And he believes this could be due to the fact that azygos veins might be the culprit for his issues (which were not tested).

For your information, he was the first person to be liberated in India. He has been selflessly sharing all the info he has.

He is a man of few words and dont expect him to reply to your post.
