I don't know if setting the autoinject to a more shallow depth would help, wouldn't it make it worse? It must go into the subcutaneous level under the skin. And if it misses that, it's an injection for nothing!
Have you considered not using the autoinject? It is easy then to get the correct depth as the needle injected up to the hilt is definitely the correct level. I've never used it. I get those lumps too. They are slightly painful, but go away after a few days with a bit of massage care. I have been injecting Copaxone now for over 20 months. This reaction has never got any better for me, but it has never got any worse!
Take care

Hubby gets no lumps nor itch but we set it to 6 for legs as well as arms. Then for stomach and buttocks we go with an 8. Call Shared Solutions they are a great help with any little worry. One of our needles broke one time and they sent up a replacement courier. I was impressed. When hubby was nervous at first they called everyday till he was comfortable. Now they call every few weeks or so. How long have you been on it????
