have you read this book ?

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Has anyone read this book, he makes some claims about MS and it's treatment. I just wondered if anyone had some comments about it. Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About by: Kevin Trudeau, thx

I'm actually reading it now. Not that I'm a big Trudeau fan based on his checkered past and questionable motives, but he does bring up some good points about eliminating toxins, our increasing dependency on prescription drugs, and clear conflict of interests of the FDA. His MS "cure" refers to magnetic mattress pads, elimination of artifical sweetners, colon cleanse, candida cleanse, heavy metal cleanse, elimination of metal dental work, liver/gallbladder cleanse, and probiotics. While I'm not about to invest big bucks in any of these proposed treatments, I do enjoy reading about different theories as to the cause of different diseases (especially MS). His ideas seem a bit far fetched, but conventional medicine doesn't seem to hold the answer anytime soon either and their progress in solving the MS riddle has been disappointing to say the least. So who knows.

Thanks for the link. I keep seeing his book in the used book store that I frequent. I'm going to print that FTC page and see if I can get away with slipping into his book. I find his infomercials entertaining at best. It's funny to watch him sit there in front of a big dummy microphone on his desk while both he and his guest are wearing a clip-on microphones on their jackets. He clearly seems more interested in theater than providing good information.
