This really worries me. Not so much for your case because you continued until your issues were found and treated. But for most people the procedure is at great cost and travel (and may be the only procedure they'll get) and then they get a doctor who doesn't check the iliac or who calls an azygous normal when there is a visible valve issue?Nunzio wrote:Well Cece, my previous 2 doctor did not see it because they enter on the right side. My impression is that at first glance CCSVI seems simple, but in truth there are many complexities, and not all doctors are recognising the complexities.
Yes, this makes much sense, and who knows? Maybe the conservative treatment will be durable.Apparently stenting works well in these cases, but I agree in the more conservative approach; we have time for a more invasive treatment later.
