This is again big news that IVUS has found, with 'THE MAN' hanging on to it and reading the screen another reason for IVUS to be used, for eyes to be open and brain to not assume.

So, where was all this blood coming from? Was it from a bypass of the J3 occlusion through posterior neck veins? Or was there an element of reflux from lower parts of the vertebral plexus (since there was a problem in the azygos)?

edit: was the Δ value of the US normal?

There was a very large pharyngeal vein as you could see from the venogram i showed. it probablyhad anastomoses with other veins, some of which might have been the dural sinuses and emissary veins at the skull base.

the delta was normal.
