Post by ptbagger »

been using Copaxone 9 months. getting an MRI done next week. Has there been significant marked differences in an MRI after 9 months. I had 20+lesions on my frontal lobe the 1st MRI with a markable amount on my spine. :?

I wouldn't count on any change. It takes 6-9 months for the copaxone to build in your system and start working. If you do have any MS activity, I wouldn't say that the copaxone doesn't work....it just wasn't in your system yet. I didn't find this out until about 1 year after taking the copaxone. Not one neurologist told me this. I had to find out on this forum myself....good luck.

LR1234, thanx for asking. My MRI revealed no new lesions and no inflamation. That appears to be a success so far. I will know better in 6 months using the 1st 9 months as the base line for Copaxone. XXXXXXX be well ;-)

Glad to hear there is no new inflammation etc.

I have quite a few lesions in my frontal lobes too....Do they effect you cognitively?
