An Itinerary in Light and Shadow Completed Dr Charles Stratton / Dr David Wheldon abx regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years. Still improving with no relapses since starting. Can't run but can paint all day.

Welcome to ThisIsMS, Natalia. Most of us invite "outside-the-box" thinking. It is my opinion that we need everyone's ideas thrown into the arena for consideration and discussion – I'm glad to hear yours.
My hypothesis: excess insulin (hyperinsulinemia) plays a major role in MS, as developed in my initial post: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/general-discussion-f1/topic1878.html "Insulin – Could This Be the Key?"

Natalia, this is true and I thought well known because of the immunomodulatory powers of the tetracycline antibiotics, however, as broad based antibiotics they are also quite good at killing or at minimum, stalling most bacterial pathogens. Sarah
