some of us may need to stop, sit back, and just breath.
music is an artistic manifestation of our inner most emotions. Carl Jung regarded music as a gateway to the eternal unconscious. ancient Mesopotamians used the vibrations of strings as a therapy for psychological disorders.
i like it because it soothes my nerves, and maybe.. indirectly calms my immune system . i will use this thread to provide free musical therapy. i hope someone will enjoy !
welcome to the smooth cool sounds of BIGSONICCHILL.

"I'm sorry.
I don't want to rule or conquer anyone.
I should like to help everyone if possible; Jew, Gentile, black man, white.
We all want to help one another, human beings are like that.
We want to live by each others' happiness, not by each other's misery.
We don't want to hate and despise one another.
In this world there is room for everyone. The good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.
The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.
Greed has poisoned men's souls; has barricaded the world with hate.
We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in.
Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little.
More than machinery we need humanity.
More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness.
Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.
Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women, and little children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.
To those who can hear me, I say "Do not despair."
The misery that has now upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress.
But We have lost the way."
i have two i'd like to share with you today. please, enjoy.
RHCP - Leverage of Space
according to anthony kiedis, our pain can break down mountains.
& of course.. Beach House - Some Things Last a Long Time
SURF REPORT: windswell holds the most size early, blending with modest SW-S Southern Hemi swells at combo exposures. Surf is generally in the thigh-waist-chest high zone at open exposures, as top windswell and combo magnets pull in occasional shoulder high+ sets early. Some breaks a little sluggish during the 5'+ AM high tide. weather/wind - Light/variable to light SE-S winds along the coast early give way to a light SW-WSW sea-breeze in the afternoon 4-7kts. Winds potentially lighten back up in the evening. Onshore flow in the afternoon. Early morning high tide hurts some spots.
God-complex. When you believe that you alone have the answer. You alone know what is right & wrong.
information is only information, it has nothing to do with whether or not we choose to accept it as truth
1/2 c sunflower oil
1 c garlic, minced
6 c onions, sliced
12 c carrots, diced
4 lb butternut squash, cubed
6 T curry powder
4 T tumeric powder
1 t chili flakes
5 T tamari
2 t black pepper
1 T sea salt
4 stalks lemongrass, leave whole, bruised with the back of your knife
1 large can coconut milk
24 c broccoli, florettes, steamed
8 c frozen peas
Saute the garlic, onions, carrots, and squash, stirring often until almost soft.
Add the spices, lemongrass, and tamari and stir well. Add the coconut milk and bring to a light boil. When the carrots and squash are cooked, add the peas and steamed broccoli. Remove the lemongrass before serving.
i play with the recipe sometimes.. add/remove some vegetables. kale and other varieties of leafy greens are nice.
