ironically, you need salt! I had a similar issue. I started drinking a lot of water, then I could never put down the water bottle I was so thirsty. Yet it went right through me. I had an issue with dizziness and passing out/ dehydration, even though I drank plenty. Then I learned that when you drink large amounts of water you wash out your salt. You actually need salt to absorb water. Go figure. I always thought salt made you more thirsty. But at some point, it stops the thirst

Any thoughts on how much sodium

Any thoughts about electrolytes other than sodium

I was feeling so much better early on in my higher water intake program that I really hope I can get that improvement back, but for good. Maybe it will just take some more time (it has only been 3 weeks). The previous 9 years all I drank was reverse osmosis filtered water - bad. Now (so far for 3 weeks) I drink tap water filtered through a carbon filter.
Thanks

I know nothing specific about this hydration issue, but I would be using the "electrolytic" "re hydration" drinks/preparations you can get from chemists; even though they are mostly sodium chloride (ie salt).

well this will be too late, but:
not sure, other than the usual set. http://www.thisisms.com/ftopict-2489.html
what are you planning to have tested so far, based on what needed work last time?
what have you adjusted regimen-wise that needs checking on?
are you planning to mention anything about excessive hydration?

I mentioned the hydration issue.
Labs:
Fasting Serum Insulin --- Thanks LyndaCarol
Profile - Comprehensive
"Vitamin" D 25 Hydroxy
CBC
Magnesium Serum --- this one was supposed to be RBC Mg, but a mistake was made.
Magnesium 24 hour Urine W/O Creatinine
I will go back in a week.
I suppose I could do a 7 day (same as for last test) Zinc/Copper washout starting today to see how things are going with taking 150 mg zinc/6 mg copper per week; I have done this for about a month now -- what do you think

yep zinc copper washout sounds good. 150mg per day sounds pretty high. when it comes to minerals, a month should be a good time frame for testing a new approach. i wouldn't leave it any longer at 150mg zinc daily.
over time it will be interesting to observe serum essential minerals and fasting serum insulin simultaneously.
serum 25(OH)vitaminD3 at the same time as serum mag will also be informative.

I just ran out of omega 3 fish oil softgels, so I went to the pantry and to my delight I saw that I have 5 bottles.
So now I have more fish oil ready to go.
