ABC Primetime-Medical Mysteries show

Post by sojourner »

ABC Primetime-Medical Mysteries will air an episode about the possible MS/Lyme connection on Jan 10th at 10p.m. EST.

This was posted on CPn Help by a man who has been treated for his MS very successfully with antibiotics and who happens to share doctors with my husband.

Could be interesting viewing.

I've heard that this show has been postponed, because they're expanding it from a half hour to an hour. I was told it will be airing later in the month of January. Apparently it will focus on both MS and Lyme.

I don't remember if I was ever tested for Lyme. We spend a week each summer in the Wisconsin Northwoods. I'll have to watch for this when it comes on.
Take care, Ewizabeth Previously Avonex, Rebif & Copaxone RRMS ~Tysabri, 31 infusions, ended 9/09. Starting Copaxone 12/09, waiting for Cladribine to be approved in 2010.

Ewizabeth--just keep in mind, there is NO DEFINITIVE test for Chronic Lyme Disease.

According to the FDA diagnostic criteria, it is a clinical diagnosis (just like MS!) All persons diagnosed with MS should seriously consider LD. There is that one little problem..your doctor won't consider it!

Now isn't that helpful?! :? Do they do it by the process of elimination and symptoms?
