If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Laquinimod shows 'promise as possible Progressive MS treatment' in mouse study

The experimental therapy laquinimod was seen to prevent the start of harmful immune responses and to disrupt the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS) in a mouse model of the disease. This finding may be especially promising, as the treatment is being developed for people with both relapsing MS and its rarer progressive form, for which no treatment currently exists...Read more - http://www.ms-uk.org/laquinimod-shows-p ... udy-131016

Two problems with this:
1) Mice are not humans.
2) Mice don't get MS, so scientists create a disease in them called EAE, which mimics MS.
So its the wrong disease and the wrong mammal. Other than that it's fine.

Moreover, the SJL/J mouse used for EAE studies is really screwed up. It develops prolific cancers as well as spontaneous myopathies making it a model for muscular dystrophy.
