This abstract doesn't directly mention MS, but it did come up in a search about MS. I found the mention of desferrioxamine intriguing because this is a substance which chelates both aluminium and iron from the body tissues so that you excrete them in urine and faeces. Wasn't there some research recently which found high levels of aluminium in the urine of people with RRMS, and high levels of iron in the urine of people with PPMS? I don't know what this might mean, but it's just one of those things that make you go "hmm"".
