Has anybody had anything similar?

Post by Whatcoulditbe »

2 years ago I started seeing dots for fifteen to 30 minutes. Along with it came confusion. These happened 3 or 4 times a year for 2 years. The neurologist diagnosed me with ocular migraines a month ago, after having a 2 week long episode of these "migraines" with worsening symptoms. Last month I had difficulty speaking, vertigo, confusion, fatigue, joint pain, and neck pain. These lasted 2 weeks, 3 of the days to where I was in bed for 3 days straight basically sleeping the whole time or laying there miserably. It went away, I seen the neurologist and we tried imitrax. It didn't work so we tried rizatriptan. It doesn't work either. Now, foot is crampy with some numbness and tingling and my right hand and arm is also, as if they're falling asleep. My vertebrae shoes reversal from muscle spasm. Last night My chest was heavy and it was hard to breathe as if my chest was caving in. I was wondering if this sounds like MS to anybody?

I had dots in my vision but that was only for about 2 minutes. This was just before I was diagnosed. I do have migraines from time to time I believe that is due to the MS. I have bad fatigue and joint pain all the time which is due to the MS. My legs are allays campy and have spasm which is due to the MS. I for about 6 months had real bad numbness & tingling in both hands and feet. That eventually for the most part went away however some of it is still there just not as bad as before.

I used to be very stubborn and when I had an injury I would just man up and forget about the pain and move on. At some point I was diagnosed with MS. Never had any idea what MS was. Looking back I could of been diagnosed about 5 years early had I been so tough shame on me for not going to the doctor. No wonder why women live longer than Men. Women go to the doctor when something is wrong. I did not. I wish I had.

U Sounds like it could be MS. See if you can have a MRI with contrast done and request to check for MS. Unfortunately sometimes it my be hard to get a diagnosed.

sounds like a wide array of possibilities, if you have not been referred to a dietitian could be wise to rule out an imbalance or deficit in case anything like that is contributing to the problems
