pseudomonis infection in immunocompromised patient

Post by sotavento »

Looking for some information/resources for an MS patient taking immunosuppressant drugs, and has been fighting a pseudomonis infection in hospital for weeks.
Is there someone with experience in this area on these boards, or know of a good online resource/forum for this topic

Thanks in advance

I had a pseudomonas bladder infection a few years ago. It persisted for months. I was finally able to get rid of it with the right antibiotics. Have you had your infection tested to determine which antibiotics it's resistant to?

Most cultures don't show any active bacteria. But one one of them they found the antibiotic it was susceptible to.
The issue seems to be related to the weakened immune system/B cell depletion. Thanks for the info though.

The best cure for bladder infections is reverse catheterizing with colloidal silver. This worked for me almost instantly.
