Eye of God
Dear All:
This photo is a very rare one, taken by NASA. This kind of event occurs once in 3000 years.
This photo has done miracles in many lives.
Make a wish ... you have looked at the eye of God.
Whether you believe it or not,
This is a picture NASA took with the Hubbell telescope.
Called "The Eye of God."

During the next 60 seconds, Stop whatever you are doing, and take this opportunity.
( Literally it is only One minute! )

Way cool, Rob! Thanks for posting that. Just showed my 12 year old son, who is a star gazer. We watched the movie Contact (Carl Sagan) last night...a very similar theme. we're all connected...
We looked up this picture...it's for real. It was posted on the NASA site in 2003 as their astronomy pic of the day- it's a composite of several shots of a helix nebula...a trillion mile tunnel of glowing gas. Feelin very tiny now!
best,
ac

I thought you might find this article interesting: it's a theory about the universe as a hologram which very much seems to reflect traditional eastern philosophies – deeply rooted ideas that we "come down" into this existence as very separate beings from an underlying pool of oneness which we will return to, call it cosmic consciousness, heaven, God, whichever. To me it seems part scientific; part hippy, and part religion, but nonetheless thought provoking:

Depressing fact number one: if you compressed the age of the universe into 24 hours, the average human lifespan would be one 10,000th of a second!
Depressing fact number two: although that is a stunning image, most pictures from NASA are artificially coloured – the universe is mostly greyscale.
By the way, since we are all connected, would someone mind scratching my nose, please?
PS, the link was working when I posted it but now the server seems to have gone down, I hope it will be back up soon.
