Ally when I was a "younger" man, dad told me "boy when your young birthdays are like telephone poles when you get my age there more like a picket fence" old dad sure was right. I sure can relate to those little aches and pains you talking about , some from ms and some from other stuff like football, fighting, roping and just being plain dumb. I can tell you ,for me anyhow, if your going to be dumb you had better be tough. LOL.
Ally you look fine and ageing is something none us of can stop. It's a sad fact but from the time you are born your body is already preparing itself for death. I don't mean to sound gloom and doom this morning. I guess I'm in one of those moods. You have nothing to woory about. I look forward to each day. Whether its good or bad, it's still another day. I hope I make the best of everyday I have on this earth because life is so short.
We all look the way we do because that is who we are. Whether it is good or bad. I have come to terms with who I am and enjoy myself no matter who's lookin. Life is much sweeter that way. If I offend anyone in the process , well they will have to excuse me.
Sorry to get side tracked there Ally, I'm glad to make you smile I guess that is my personallity. I love to smile but I even more so love to see others smile.
Hope all is well. Shannon

You are a good guy Shannon - life is short (and getting shorter every day), and with my medical history, I am VERY grateful for each day!

I just get a bit down on Avonex day, as physically I feel like s%$t - maybe I need to work some more on my fitness level so that I can handle it better...
Funny, I also have a spots injury - rt knee is shot, no cartilage, so I know about being dumb - but I wouldn't change the past (loved the sky-diving).

Its not how I look that I care about - came to terms with the good and the bad a long time ago (one benefit of maturing), but how I feel inside, and what I can do physically - I used to be so strong and fit and I miss that!

Not being gloom and doom either, and have taken you completely off the thread while you gave me some support  You hae a talent for making me laugh - you have a great attitude.

Good news - I have got some spices and stuff for you - will box and post them this week and give you a heads up when they are in the mail.

Thanks my friend.

JL thanks for the explanantion!

ok ally sweetie here is some food porn. LOL , Lew I know you will surely appreciate this also.
Fried crabs or BBQ whichever you want to call it.
These were cooked on my plow disk cooker. This is a plow disk from my father in laws plow. The plow is huge it's like 21 ft wide and has two rows of discs that he pulls with a dual wheel Case tractor. Anyhow here it is.

Now the wine we did not drink tonight because it is a amarone and really doesn't pair well with crab, but it is one of our favorites, later shannon

Wow!

If I ever visit my buds in Houston - I am making a special trip to your house for crabs! Don't care how far it is - those look worth the trouble - you do realize that all the members who live in the States are now plotting ways to get to you next crab feast? Did you catch 'em yourself? And did they taste as good as they look?

Yeah , Ally I went fishing Saturday w/ a coworker and then Sunday after Mass we went to Holly Beach Louisianna and caught the crabs. They were delicious. That picture was just what was left over from supper. My parents came by and ate w/ us. We also had fried squash and green beans w/ new potatoes. MMMM good.
Lew I thought you would approve. LOL

Hi Shannon

Thanks! Since I kind of forced the invitation (just a little!) - if I ever have the energy, money, and time to take at least three flights, lasting more than 24 hrs in the air to get to your neck of the woods - I will definitley drop you a line & come visit!
That kind of once in a lifetime experience would not be complete without some of Greta's Gumbo (does she do it like they do in New Orleans?) - hey, GG, that could be the name of a dish in a swanky restaurant.
Sigh, the Lone Star State...

Sorry for the camera being on tilt as the didn't know how to use my little camera.
