Erika, you did it, girl!

My husband was born in Poland, and I tell him Poland is where I should go to have my stent surgery (assuming I have stenosis, that is).

We both wish you a speedy recovery.

Best wishes, Erika!!

Wow, so many posts! I am surprised. Thank you all!!!
I am so happy I do not know where to start.
I am 100% sure it was correct what I did - the procedure.

Well, at the moment I am at the train station In Katowice. I am waiting for my train to Slovakia.

Day -1: it means the day before the procedure. I came to the hospital at 2 pm. I just had blood draw and I was filling some forms with the nurse. I do not have big problems with Polish language. It was Monday.
Day 0 - Dr Hartel - the radiologist from Zabrze came to pick me up about 10:30. I had another MR, it was about 40 minutes. They wanted to check something again. I was waiting there for Dr. Simka - he had some another patients from Slovakia that day. He talked to Dr. Hartel about my left jugular vein. I did not have stenosis in mz right jugular - the vein only looks ugly (some people have ugly ears I have ugly right jugular - well I must live with that...)
The problem was in my low jugular vein, not stenosis but the valve was not OK. The pictures were clear. It was similar problem as Rici had.
We went by car back to Katowice - my procedure started about 4:30 pm. I was back in my bed at 6 pm. There was also local TV an they documented with camera whole procedure.
The procedure is extremely easy. It is really nothing. I was not scared AT ALL. So I got one stent in my left jugular vein.
I could have the procedure twice a day without any problem.
At 8 pm I saw my head was not that "foggy". I liked to look at the wall and other things in my room. I had to stay in bed for 13 hours. I did not want any catheter for urinating. I had to call the nurse couple of times during the night. It was hard to empty my bladder the first and the second time. I did not have any third arm to push my bladder. The other 4 times it was easy - which was good because I have some bruises from the heparin injections on my belly. I can not even touch it - but it is my fault - I will explain later.
Day 1:The next day I was NOT TIRED AT ALL!!! It is strange because I slept only 5 hours. At about 5 pm I was in my hotel already.
I go to write now something to the German and Slovak and Czech Forums.

Ahoj Erika,

My parents speak slovak and I was wondering if you could post a link to the slovak forums here, or private message me the link if you prefer. I'd like to send it to them so that they can participate in the discussions.

Thanks!
