News from Rici, a polish patient being operated

Of course I will keep on informing you about all the news about Rici. I also asked him to make a report for the tracking thread and he is going to do it, but a bit later. He told me that he is quite active in a polish forum and that these people are in need of information, so he is quite busy at the moment. And as german is not his first language I guess that posting in our german forum takes more time for him than for a native speaker. So we have to be a bit patient.

"Two steps forward, one step backward. I remember Dr. Simka saying that. Well, tonight was a half step backward. Nightly spasms returned so I had to take more Baclofen and do "bicycle" with my legs. Not as bad than before the operation but worse than after the operation. But also some good news: I'm able to keep the balance a lot longer when doing my exercises on the floor. And I'm even more accurate while doing so. I'm on my knees and hands and lift the right leg together with the left hand, then the left leg together with the right hand and so on. And when I become absorbed in something I start to forget that I have MS. Before the operation this would have been impossible. I wish to all of you that you'll get your procedure soon!"

here's link to polish newspaper where is interview with Ricci about first procedure in Poland.It opens with Acrobat so I'm not sure if it can be translated automatically by some program,but I'm not an expert with computer technology,maybe there is some way to do it...in short it says how promising the whole theory is,how's Ricci after surgery (great) , how much it cost and who and where it was done...altough we know almost everything about it and there is nothing new in this article I'm so happy that fairly big newspaper decided to publish !! our voice is getting louder!

Ricci asked me to put some corrections about newspaper article-he said that newspaper lady who did an interview overdid it a little-especially this part about feeling as a newborn is not true -those are not his words but hers.He does not want people to think that after surgery all this ms crap is gone-he feels a lot better but surgery does not work like magic wand or something.

25 days after the procedure:
"Indeed I'm feeling better. I manage to get up from my bed or a chair faster. I can stand without having to hold myself on a table or a wall. I reach my nose tip or my eye with closed eyes without any problems. As I already told you my heat intolerance has gone away and taking a shower is no longer a problem. Some days ago I noticed that I was able to walk with the water jug in one hand without having to hold myself with the other hand on the table. Today a bulb burnt out. I was able to change it by climbing on the sofa. Some months ago I would not have been able to do a thing like that. My difficulties with seeing (double pictures) and speaking are gone. My fingers are working fine, too. Unfortunately my walking hasn't yet improved but today I was able to sleep the whole night through. I only needed to go to the bathroom at 7:45 a.m.. This means I was able to sleep without feeling the need to go the bathroom for more than 6 hours as I went to bed at about 1:00 a.m.!"

Ana and Rici... Your story is so marvellous. I have double vision too !!! Yep, I see two people in front of me instead of one. I have terrible problems sleeping and I have to pee ALL THE TIME. So your story is special to me. ecause of you, in my mind I imagine regaining my life sometime soon. Maybe the fatigue and the headaches will go away too !!! Thanks Rici for being a CCSVI pioneer !!

Concerning headaches and fatigue I think that Erika, the slowakian patient operated after Rici, mentioned quite an improvement only several days after the procedure. So you can go on imagining and planing a brighter future, as so proverb (or Frank Sinatra
) says "the best is yet to come!"
