One month after the procedure:

"Sometimes it is better but now...
I couldn't sleep this night. At 2 a.m. there was a disturbance in the boiler of the central heating. The heat was at the maximum. And...for the first time since weeks I went to the cellar and no problem! Though there are some steep steps. I took down the temperature and went back upstairs. But after some minutes it was even warmer. I went to the heater but it was so hot that I couldn't touch it. But I could stand next to it without having the feeling that my head was exploding like I used to feel near the heater! I returned to the cellar and switched the boiler off.

So I went back to my bed. Then spasms started. I went upstairs (1rst floor) to drive on my bicycle and to take some Baclofen. But I started with walking in the room and corridor from window to window which is about 10 meters distance. And for the first time since many months I managed to walk about 100 meters without having to support myself at the wall! Then I had to hold the wall with my hands more often but kept on walking nevertheless. I always count how much I walk but I don't want to write it down. The whole distance I had walked was more than 200 meters! Thanks for your attention!"

Here is Ricci's report after 1 month+1 week after the procedure:
1.He can now stand on one foot longer
2.He now can wash himself standing with no breaks for rest-doesn't feel exhausted in the middle of the process
3.He can bend over the sink to wash his face-no unwanted movements,no balance problems!
4.He can take longer steps,he can raise his feet higher, much less problems with putting his socks on
5.doesn't need to stabilize his body while sitting
6.Can stand straight with his eyes closed, not for long, but before it was impossible at all
7.Doesn't need help with standing up from sitting position.

So everything is better and better!

"50 days after the procedure:

Still day by day everything keeps on getting better.

1) My problems with the bladder have practically vanished. I can sleep the whole night through without having to go every 2 hours to the bathroom.

2) Climbing up stairs has become better.

3) I can walk again faster.

4) I can stand heat again, i.e. I can eat or drink warm stuff again or stay in warm rooms.

5) My feet are less insensible.

6) I'm able to eat again in a normal way using both hands.

7) I'm able again to button my clothes, especially the sleeves, even with one hand!

8 ) No more constipation.

9) No more problems with standing up.

10) My balance has improved. I'm walking again erectly.

Best wishes

Rici"

Great news for Rici -- The improvements in the bladder and the constipation are not placebo. Someone knows when those have changed!
Ana, tell Rici thanks for the update and thanks to you for being his translator! You have done a marvelous job these past few months.

Unfortunately Rici has new problems. Dr. Simka already did the liberation procedure concerning his left jugular but Rici still had some problems so they checked his veins again and found out that his right jugular is far too wide, about 3 cm!!! It is too wide to place a stent and Rici says that it's rather a water-hose than a vein. You can see it here, also the stent which is in the other side: http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/4845/20091221rici.jpg

It causes a strong reflux and that's why Rici needs to be operated again. Maybe an open operation is necessary.
