Yeah but you get loads of emails too! I prefer pull (as here) to push.

Agreed. I don't mean to discourage anyone from seeking new sources of information, only to post a "heads up" regarding Yahoo. The last time I read Yahoo's "privacy policy", I chose to stay away. In addition to their discussion groups, I've found that many businesses run their websites through Yahoo's servers. Thus, one is also subject to Yahoo's lack of privacy policy in addition to the primary business's privacy policy. Sometimes calling the primary business on the phone can be the better option.

you can always choose no emails. I run a yahoo playgroup.
