last relapse?

Post by CureOrBust »

I was wondering, how long into this treatment are people experiencing that they are no longer having relapses of MS?

I understand it would be pretty hard with the reactions some are getting to flagyl.

I have been pretty lucky as my major cause/trigger of relapses are a cold/flu, of which I havnt had since march.

I am wondering how long (how many flagyl pulses etc) you have been on abx treatment before a trigger that definitely would of triggered a relapse before, did not do so now?

I didn't have relapses, having progressive disease, so I just went on the fact that I was suddenly getting better rather than worse. Then a subsequent MRI showed this to be the case.

It is possible to have a relapse in the early stages of treatment, especially if you get 'flu, say, but that is probably more likely at this time of year to us in northern latitudes. 8)

An Itinerary in Light and Shadow Completed Dr Charles Stratton / Dr David Wheldon abx regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after four years. Still improving with no relapses since starting. Can't run but can paint all day.
