Symptoms?
Hi Im new here and kind of worried. My mother who is 42 has MS. No one else in my family has it that I'm aware of. I'm 23 years old and have been experiencing similar symptoms for the past couple years. Numbness in feet and fingers, fatigue, chronic amd random pain, vision is getting blurry, I've had problems with my coordonation lately especially going down stairs and as of late I've had small incontinence problems... I have no insurance at the moment and am unable to see a DR until at least the 2nd week of January. Do any of these symptoms match? I've been worrying myself sick.
Re: Symptoms?
Hi,
Your mother is your mother. You are you. If you have these symptoms then they are worth checking.
I would get a test for your uric acid level to see if it is low. Also get tested for EBV, mycoplasma and chlamydia. Get your nutritional levels check to see if you are depleted in amino acids or vitamins. Be fact based and do not use your mother as a model of what might be affecting you. MS is not hereditary but it can occur in clusters. That implies infections are a thing to check for .
Regards,

And please do not forget a check for Vit B12 deficiency - the symptoms of this can mimic MS.

"I've been worrying myself sick."
Go see a doctor and get some answers from someone who is trained/qualified to do so, and will be able to perform the tests necessary to determine exactly what is going on with you.
