to be clear, its the side-effects of the treatments
"Patients with MS are currently prescribed with disease modifying drugs to reduce inflammation; however, the side effects associated with these drugs raises safety concerns,"
I think "side-effects" of a disease are actually the symptoms of the disease.

I think "side-effects" of a disease are actually the symptoms of the disease.
That's correct - they are looking to create a treatment that avoids the side-effects that are experienced with a lot of the current MS medications. We will be talking to the key researchers involved in this study in the very near future and hopefully will be able to post an interview with them shortly. We will keep you updated!
