Yeah...that post is a lot to take in and I kinda sorta just skimmed through the super technical stuff. It reminded me of you and Leonard.
I quit Buhnering in the fall. My energy slowly dwindled whilst doing Buhner and I just wasn't seeing any benefit from it. I was tired of interrupting my day with frequent doses of this that and the other and then some. I was/am also distracted by a family crisis. Stress! So, I've only been taking a multi and magnesium.
This past month, I tried 5000 iu D a day and gave myself a mild vitamin d reaction and a sore back/kidney (odd...I still don't like D and I'm not on valtrex). The sore kidney led me to try k2 which is what initially cleared my head (for a few hours) but didn't help energy. I tried nascent iodine (lost in perspiration) and gained a couple pounds...quit that. There were a couple of times I would eat a meal and feel energized...usually it involved red meat, so I tried iron. No joy. Then it finally occurred to me that the meals that made me feel better for a while all included avocado and the k2 I took was fat soluble, in a capsule with fat. So, I tried the omega3/dha. Joy, finally! So, I'm taking a multi, magnesium, and omega3/dha.
