Pam Bartha, wellness coach

Post by ncdave4life »

Have any of you heard of Pam Bartha, author and MS "wellness coach?"

Google finds mostly promotional stuff:
https://www.google.com/search?q=Pam+Bartha

She puts on pricey seminars/webinars about her approach to treating MS, Lyme, etc: $300 for an intensive one-day session, more for a longer, more in-depth class.

She has also written a book:
https://www.amazon.com/Become-Wellness- ... 0986926701

Is it flim-flam, or is it real & useful? Does anyone here know?

Another name that comes up in association with her is Terry Wahls. What do y'all know about her?

No, I've never heard of her before. I wouldn't pay $300 when you could buy her book for $20. You could also check your local library and used book stores. There has been lots of discussion here about Terry Wahls. Just do a search.

Keep in mind that it's not uncommon for people in the early stages of RRMS to experience long periods of remission. I was fine and had no symptoms for 8 years after my initial attack. Had I been diagnosed at that time and put on some treatment, then I would have been considered the model of success for that treatment. However, the 8 year remission was just the natural course of the disease for me.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to say that I heard this author is into heavy-handed sales techniques for her $2000+ packages. I'm sorry, but there's just too much out there for free or for much lower cost if someone feels they need 12 sessions outlining diet and lifestyle tips.
