How to remove Calcium from Milk

Post by mrtmeo »

I found this a long time ago and wonder if anyone can find out from a Coimbra protocol dr if this would work.

Depends on whether you want to drink or use the milk afterwards.
But Ca(2+) ions is important for human bone growth and important in curd / gel formation during cheese / yogurt making.
You can remove it by precipitation.
Adding sodium carbonate to the milk will make the milk alkaline. It will dissociated into sodium and carbonate ions. The Ca(2+) will bind to the carbonate ions and become insoluble resulting in precipation (Calcium carbonate or marble).
Filter the milk and the majority of the Ca (2+) will be gone!
Mother was on Rituximab and prednisone for Microscopic Polyangiitis which attacked the kidneys and lungs.
Drs denied her dialysis and appropriate treatment for her MPA and forced her into hospice.

It is a good technique to remove calcium.

But, there is another problem. Second Dr. Roy Swank there is a strong correlation between Milk proteins, Leaky Gut and MS... So, calcium isn't the only one problem with milk.

Correlation between milk and MS Study: https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... wide_Study

Swank's diet most effect peer-reviewed treatment: http://journals.plos.org/plosone/articl ... 106335.PDF

I think the best solution may be to make your own rice or almond milk. There are youtube videos on how to do this.

I have learned not to trust just about every study because the data can be manipulated any way the sponsor of the study wants. Data indicates that about 80% of those with MS will do well regardless of their actions. So unless a study shows significantly higher numbers than 80%. to me the study's data is just about meaningless.

I follow what would be considered a very unpopular diet (high in meat that is high in fat, grass fed of course, no carbs, minimal veggies) and include a fair amount of grass fed dairy (including milk converted by me to milk kefir and grass fed cheeses) that is contrary to just about everyone's opinion on health and nutrition and frankly, have never been healthier in every way aside from the MS. I have been on this protocol for well over 2 1/2 years and have had blood-work done regularly to insure I had no health issues.

By every popular thought/theory, I should be having relapse after relapse and be quite ill.

FWIW, I currently take 35,000 IU of D3 Daily, just one of many supplements I take.

Also FWIW, I consumed virtually no dairy or red meat - go figure!

The mechanism might be related to the A1 casein protein mutation in most cows.
It is this mutant casein along with pasteurizing (which kills around 250,000 pathogenic bacteria where their dead carcasses stay in the milk) causing a histamine response that might be causing the reactions to milk products.

See the "The Devils in the Milk" here.

Organic Jersey cows don't normally carry the A1 mutation.

I totally agree with almost everything you stated except the beef.
The studies are just not accurate.
I could give examples but it would just be too large a post.
However, why do you not like red meat as in beef?

Well, interesting article. I guess that further studies are needed to see if this correlation between MS and Milk protein is true.

Because of that, I'm not going to risk my neck...

I agree that if someone has issues with dairy to eliminate it is the best option.
It is not worth having worse sx's trying something that just causes issues.
