Post by vrkrrao »

Hi,

I am feeling to support on Home GYM. When I am trying to take the specifications of the machinery all the machine specifications are same but when it comes to commercial there is a huge difference.

I require a support actually what types of machines need to purchase what are the factors need to consider and which area need to concentrate.

Please suggest me to take the right machinery.

What type of exercise(s) are you looking to do? How much space do you have for the equipment? What is your budget?

Equipment will depend on your abilities as well as your disabilities. What equipment are you interested in? Weight machine, Treadmill, Elliptical or ?

We want to use one upright Stationary Bike, Thread mill & Elliptical machines. Apart from that planning for inclined and declined bench and weights ( Dumbles) .

Basically While purchasing the machinery on what specs we need to focus. With the same specs there are many vendors and having different price range.

Need guidance on key areas of the machines to study.

You can find online reviews for the equipment you're interested in and would be worth reading. If you haven't already, try out the different brands before you buy. There can be a difference between brands in how they work and feel when in use. There are places that deal in used equipment that can be in good condition and that has not had a lot of use but less expensive than new.

It's difficult to recommend certain equipment as everyone has their own preference and needs. I once had and used a treadmill but I no longer use one as it's not safe for me.

I have an Elliptical and a 4 station weight machine. I wanted a weight machine that I would not need to move weights around. All I need to do to increase/decrease the amount of weight is pull a pin and put it in the amount of weight I want. This was purchased from a dealer that had both new and used equipment. My weight machine is used but it obviously it was not used very much.
