'New' Testing Options for (some) Canadians

Post by jimmylegs »

Well I clearly have not been paying attention to local testing developments over the past year +

last time I looked for something like this, it was on hold due to local implementation barriers. i have no idea how long this has been up and running:

Blood Tests Canada
http://bloodtestscanada.com

ontario centric, so far. has some useful tests for our purposes, but not all. also looks more expensive than need be. in the past when i have had to pay for a test not covered by OHIP, it has never been that pricey. (that said, it has been a long time since i wanted a test which was not covered). i did note that there is UK origin to this entity, and i know prices for private testing in the UK are insane. especially when you compare to something like life extension in the US. will be interesting to see how this develops over time.

also:

just BC so far, looks like. will be more interesting when and if they decide to branch out into more essential nutrients.
