Better knowledge of EAE

Post by TwistedHelix »

EAE might not be the best model of MS, but better understanding of it could be a good thing:

EAE is a horrible model of MS. Extensive use of this model create the "autoimmunity" of MS. Now, when "immuno-modulating" drugs based on this theory failed to treat MS, what will be next?
I expect a switch to axonal dysfunction or degeneration and more genetic research. Well, another 10-15 years in a wrong direction?

Kind regards,
Tony

Tony,

I don't mind if you got me mixed with Dom, but maybe he does.
